Acupuncture Styles Offered

Classical Chinese Acupuncture

Chinese acupuncture addresses imbalances in the cells, tissues, fluids, organs and systems and attempts to rectify and rebalance via nervous system stimulation and redirection of body resources. 

Five channel systems are utilized:  Sinew, Luo, Primary, Eight Extraordinary, Divergents.

Sterile acupuncture needles are placed and retained for a period of time determined by treatment system and intention.  

Kubota Ishizaka Rhu - {Japanese Acupuncture}

This style of acupuncture is very different in needle technique and treatment approach.  

Intention of this style is to access the balanced aspects and bring them to the imbalanced areas creating health and wellness.

 

Acupuncture needles are inserted into ashi points (aka Ah-Shit! points; pain trigger points), a technique of release is performed, the needle is removed and the next ashi point is located.  

 

Practitioner remains in the room during session majority.

 

Exceptional for pain, dysfunction, structural rebalancing, range of motion,  and overall balancing. 

 

Results are generally noticeable immediately.

Alchemical Acupuncture

This acupuncture style utilizes acupuncture points that touch deeply to the emotions and spirit.  

They are used to help release energy and emotions that no longer serve us while balancing and providing stability.

These points are beautifully stimulated with acupuncture needles, gentle techniques and essential oils.  

Chinese Medicine

Classical Chinese Medicine focuses on the whole individual and seeks balance across five areas.  These areas sometimes become areas of specialities within Chinese Medicine.

Areas are:  Diet/Food, Movement (Qi Gong, Tai Chi), Cultivation Methods & Techniques, Direct Methods (Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping), Herbal Medicines (including essential oils, stone medicines and medicinal formulations.

Lifestyle coaching and spiritual consulting are aspects of the Classical style of Chinese Medicine.

All treatment plans will contain these five aspects.
